Day in the Black Forest (photos added)

Happy Easter to all our readers!  We have had a very unusual Easter Day, and have missed being with family and friends, but being in the mountains in sunshine has given us a feeling of how great it is to be alive.
I spent a long time talking to our lady receptionist this morning as she loves speaking English (she is an English teacher) and she gave us so much information on what to do today and tomorrow and she lent us a map.
We decided to go into the mountains today - cycling to the nearest railway station, then going on the Hollental railway to Titisee, passing snowy hills, pretty alpine villages and forests.  After warming drinks in a cafe, we set off to walk all the way round Lake Titisee.  Beautiful views in ever changing weather.  It went from sun to cloud, to snow, to sun, to more snow and yet more sun!  Of course, pretty cold too, but we were well wrapped up.  Back at Titisee village (quite a tourist spot) we decided to catch another train going further up the valley to Seebrugg - beside another lake, this one quite a bit bigger.  After half an hour's wander, we caught the same train back, continuing on to our station (we called it Littlehaven, because it is Littenweiller) just east of Freiburg.  Then the gently  downhill ride back home beside the river.
Such a delightful day - we are glowing with all the super fresh air.  Also 2 special things happened - at our station this morning, we were just working out how to buy our tickets in the machine when a chap said to us, we have a ticket for the 3 of us, but the ticket covers 5 people.  So we went along with them!  Then this afternoon when we were approaching Titisee station, a chap hurried up to us and said he'd seen our 'Horsham' on our coats - these are our Healthy Walk Leaders very warm coats - and said he comes from close to Horsham, Victoria, Australia!!!  He lives in Germany with his Germane wife, but was delighted to learn that there is also a Horsham in England!
Will add photos tomorrow as our wifi time for today is almost finished.
Thank you for the 'comments' and messages - will reply when more wifi time.
